SOAR: A Spatial transcriptOmics Analysis Resource: Spatial transcriptomics is an expanding set of techniques used to quantify gene expression within specific locations of a tissue sample. Such technology enables a more precise understanding of gene expression within specific cells and the interactions between cells.
I led the website development for a collaborative team effort to deploy a R Shiny application that provides the scientific and research community access to a curated set of 304 spatial transcriptomic datasets with corresponding analyses of 2,785 tissue samples.
